2016 FFC: Beautification of EoC Village

The 2016 family fund campaign (FFC) was recently launched by members of the CUIB family with the aim to beautify the Economy of Communion Village, the main venue for most events of the institution. The launching occurred alongside the closure of the 2015 FFC which was used for the acquisition of medical equipment for the Sr. Emmanuella Fomenky Memorial Foundation Clinic created to carter for the health needs of faculty, staff, and students as well as its surrounding community.

According to the president of the institution the purpose of the fund raising among members of the university is to build the university for posterity: such that generations to come benefit. He voiced the fact that in CUIB we make our bridges strong through sharing and living together enforced by the philosophy of Economy of Communion. On this note he expressed his appreciation to all for the success recorded in the 2015 FFC and appealed to all to see it as a contribution to build the university.

During the launching coordinated by Ayah Abine, of the Office of Institution Advancement and Development the 2016 FFC coordinators were made known to the public and various units took turns to announce their 2016 FFC pledges for the realization of the EoC Village beautification project.Certificates of appreciation were handed to donors of the 2015 FFC and a memorabilia for top donors was presented to all. It is worth noting that the family fund campaign is an internal fund raising activity by the university and is in its third edition.
